I WAS PLEASED with my new wind turbine until I realized it was lazily rotating in the migratory path of what is possibly the world's largest flock of pigeons. I was alerted to this by the pitter patter of semi-conscious birds tumbling across my roof one November morning. Animal rights protestors were assembling, and I narrowly avoided an ugly situation by incorporating myself as a farmer specializing in "wild caught" poultry. Though reasonably priced, I never made a single sale.
